Determining the economic efficiency of operating modern forestry machines

The necessary measures to support the timber industry complex of the Russian Federation in the conditions of the new economic reality are given, experimental data are given on the performance of a forwarder based on snow and swamp-going equipment TROM 20 in the conditions of development of hard-to-reach logging sites in the Russian Federation in real natural and production conditions of the rental base of enterprises. The performance of the KS TROM 20 machine under various operating conditions was determined. An economic justification for the use of the KS TROM 20 forwarder in conditions of hard-to-reach logging sites based on theoretical calculations is presented. Based on the data obtained as a result of operation, the annual current effect and net present value of the theoretical option, the profitability index of discounted investments were calculated, and as a result, the payback period of the implemented equipment was obtained.
