Kama Research Centre together with Tchaikovskiy Institute of Physical Culture has organized First International Scientific -Practical Conference «Actual Issues of Physical Education and Innovation in Sports». The conference was held on September 24 2020. Key directions were: scientific support of innovative development of physical education and sports, topical problems of physical education, sport psychology, sport medicine, theory and methods of sport training, modern scientific achievements — to the practice of physical education and sports, role of sport science in innovative development of physical education and sports, improving the training of athletes, students and schoolchildren taking into account the requirements of innovative development of physical education and sports..

The main goal of the conference was to discuss and solve the most important strategic tasks on the development of innovative technologies in physical education and sports, their modernization and intellectualization. As a result, on the basis of the submitted reports of participants from 4 countries, it was decided to establish international collaborations in relevant scientific directions in physical education and sports.

The conference was attended by scientists, coaches, teachers of the University and scientific community, state authorities, local government, athletes, graduate students, students and university employees.

We express our sincere gratitude to all participants, experts, moderators for all the work done and their interest in the conference. We are sure that thanks to such joint fruitful work, the conference was held as a high-level event and was positively appreciated both in Russia and abroad. We look forward to further cooperation and meeting in the Central part of Russia at conferences, symposia, round tables and seminars.
