This article presents monitoring of reproductive qualities of silver-black foxes of the Savvatyevsky breed type for five years. All analyzed females were divided into 3 groups depending on the date of mating. The study showed that females that ovulate at the beginning of the rut, i.e. before March 15, have the best reproductive indicators. At the same time, among females not mated before March 26, there is the smallest number of successful whelpings and the smallest number of surviving puppies. To stimulate the reproductive function of females with an estrous cycle disorder (females that did not come into heat before March 26, hormonal stimulation with the drug “Follimag” was used. It was found that in the group of females with hormonal stimulation, compared with females without stimulation, there were 4.7% more successfully whelped females, fertility was higher by 0.6 puppies.
