Abstract
This paper systematically reviews the structural properties, classification, and development of hydrogels, highlighting their advantages and mechanisms in drug delivery, tissue engineering, and smart medical applications. It emphasizes their biocompatibility and stimulus responsiveness, discusses challenges such as mechanical properties and controllable degradation, and outlines future prospects in personalized and precision medicine.
