The paper studies the wear of the working surfaces of the cultivator’s pointed paw caused by multiple deformations by solid particles with high abrasiveness and mechanical properties of the soil. The main purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for determining the wear resistance of self-sharpening cutters of the cultivator’s pointed paws. Factors influencing the traction of working bodies and causing wear of working surfaces have been identified. The studies can be of interest to the specialists involved in tillage.
