Anthropometric measurements and subsequent methods for classifying body shapes make it possible to assess, study and predict the characteristics of the course of human diseases. Scoliosis, a lateral curvature of the spine, is a dangerous disease with serious complications, especially for growing children. Disorders that occur in the musculoskeletal system during the period of growth and development of children are dangerous because if not detected in time, they often become irreversible. The purpose of this study was to determine the anthropometric characteristics of the parameters of the upper extremities depending on gender and age characteristics in children aged the first and second periods of childhood.
