The work examines the stages of creation and the current state of the landscape and decorative park of the Stavropol Botanical Garden. The species composition, sanitary and aesthetic condition of growing plants was analyzed. A comprehensive assessment of the recreational potential of the territory is given, with the definition of the class of recreational value. The reasons for the deterioration of the condition and aesthetic qualities of plantings have been identified. Recommendations have been formed to prevent the destruction and loss of plant populations, as well as to improve their architectural, landscape and functional efficiency.
