Ustyurt medicinal plants and their active ingredients

The article presents the results of a study of medicinal plants of Ustyurt. A brief description of the soil and climatic conditions and vegetation of the Ustyurt plateau is given. Salt marshes are characterized by a halophilic type of vegetation. Gypsum soils are inhabited by a hypsophilic type, the flora of Ustyurt in different years, under the influence of environmental and man-made factors, has undergone a change in the number of species growing on its territories. According to the latest data, 183 species have been identified. The extensive list of plants given in the article shows that the medicinal plants of Ustyurt contain chemical compounds that have various healing properties. The article provides a number of measures for the practical use of medicinal plants growing in Ustyurt.
