The Fishermen Exchange Rate in Marine Protected Area Taman Wisata Perairan Timur Pulau Bintan (TWP-TB) in Mapur Village, Bintan Regency

This research was conducted in Mapur Village, Bintan Regency. The fishermen’s exchange rate study aims to determine the level of fishermen’s welfare by comparing income and expenditure from the fisheries and non-fisheries sectors. Respondents were determined using the non- probability and purposive sampling techniques using the Lemeshow method. The number of respondents was 20, who were selected based on the criteria. The results showed the NTN value of 0 - < 1 was six respondents, NTN 1 ≤ 1.5 was six respondents, and NTN > 1.5 was eight respondents. It can be concluded that the average NTN level of Mapur fishermen is 1.46
