Entrepreneurial Characteristics of Sand Land Melon Farmers in Galur District, Kulon Progo Regency

This study aims to determine the entrepreneurial character of sand melon farmers and determine the relationship between internal and external factors with the entrepreneurial character of sand melon farmers in Galur District, Kulon Progo Regency. Determination of the location on purpose, namely in the village of Banaran, District Galur. The research sampling method was a census, namely as many as 30 melon farmers members of the Sidodadi Farmer Group. Data were obtained through interviews using a questionnaire. They were using analytical techniques, namely the Likert scale and Spearman rank correlation. The results showed that the level of character of the sand melon farmers in the Galur District was strong, the highest relationship strength was in the medium category, namely capital with achievement motivation.
