The article indicates materials of the results of scientific research conducted in the marginal lands of Karabuga village of Dosnazarov massif of Karauzyak district in Republic of Karakalpakstan. This research determined the influence of some helophytes on the soil’s reclamation status. Phenological observations were also made to monitor the plant’s growth. Plant samples have been selected for further chemical analysis over time intervals. This scientific research also illustrates the characteristics of organic and inorganic substances fractions, their biological impact on plant biomass, the relationship of these characteristics for their further using in the phytoremediation of saline lands, and new possibilities for determining their suitability as feed.
