The Progress of Emotional Skincare Research: Current Developments and Applications

This study explored the interactions between skin and emotions, summarizing how positive and negative emotions affect skin condition. It analyzed the mechanisms underlying these interactions and discussed the primary physiological pathways, such as the HPA axis and the endocannabinoid system, which play roles in emotion skincare relationships. Furthermore, it listed how skincare products can influence emotions and concluded methods for measuring skin-to-emotion interactions. Finally, it suggested future developments and research directions for emotion skincare products to enhance both skin health and emotional well-being.
