Perilla leaves contain a variety of bioactive antibacterial components, including total polyphenols, total flavonoids, total saponins, and proanthocyanidins. The effects of extraction time, solid-liquid ratio, and ethanol volume fraction on the yield of antibacterial components were examined using single-factor experiments. Building on the findings from these experiments, the extraction process was further optimized through response surface methodology (RSM), with extraction yield serving as the response variable. The optimized process was demonstrated to be stable and reliable, offering a robust theoretical and technical foundation for the industrial development and application of Perilla.
