Abstract
One area that utilizes the cultural services of mangrove ecosystems as an ecotourism area is Sidodadi Village. This study aims to calculate the economic value of ecotourism services generated by mangrove ecosystems in Sidodadi Village, Teluk Pandan District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. The sampling method used for primary data is systematic sampling by conducting interviews with visitors. Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained from satellite images and ecotourism area managers, namely the Mangrove Ecotourism Area Management Unit and KTH Bina Jaya Lestari. Economic valuation calculations were conducted using the Tourism Suitability Index, Area Supportability, and Travel Cost Method. The Mangrove Ecotourism Area “Cuku Nyi-Nyi” in Sidodadi Village, Pesawaran District, Teluk Pandan Regency, Lampung Province, is not suitable for use as a tourist area based on the tourism suitability index calculation with a total score of 1.94 across all three stations. The total carrying capacity of the “Cuku Nyi-Nyi” Mangrove Ecotourism area is 155 people/day. Based on the Travel Cost Method approach, the economic value of Mangrove Ecotourism “Cuku Nyi-Nyi” amounted to IDR 53,082,196.6/year with 626 visitors/year.
