In the implementation of Indonesia's National Health Insurance program, the government introduced the Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS) regulation to improve equity and enhance the quality of services. By 2025, all hospitals are required to implement KRIS by fulfilling 12 criteria in inpatient wards. This qualitative study, conducted from February to May 2024, aims to analyze the readiness of Diponegoro National Hospital to implement the KRIS regulation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and secondary data analysis. The variables in this study included infrastructure, resources, communication, organizational acceptance, and regulatory implementation strategies. The findings indicated that Diponegoro National Hospital has prepared the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and human resources to meet these requirements. However, coordination to address the operational aspects of its implementation is lacking. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Diponegoro National Hospital establish a team to develop a structured strategy for implementing the KRIS. This should include the preparation of an operational plan, increased internal outreach, and training for healthcare workers. In addition, the hospital should collaborate with external stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health and BPJS Kesehatan to obtain technical and financial support to optimize the implementation of the KRIS.
