Seed certification is a series of testing processes on seeds to meet quality standards and technical requirements. Kebonrejo Village, Salaman District is a central area for durian seed production. This study aims to find out the attitudes and factors related to forming attitudes towards the durian seed certification process. The methods used were descriptive analysis and interview techniques with questionnaires. Location determination was carried out purposively and random sampling of 45 respondents was then analyzed with Spearman Rank correlation. The result of this study is that the attitude of seed breeders towards the certification process is classified as “not good”. The conclusion on the cognitive attitude that breeders are “convinced” of the insight or knowledge of the seed certification process. In the affective attitude, it includes the category of “agreeing” to the goals and advantages of seed certification, then in the conative attitude of breeders is classified as “not interested” in implementing seed certification. Factors that significantly affect attitudes are formal education, land area, income, the role of plant seed supervisors, the role of farmer groups, and social media exposure. Age, non-formal education and farming experience did not have a significant effect on breeders’ attitudes regarding the durian seed certification process.
