Abstract
Textile microfibers pollute the environment and for this reason are the subject of increasing research interest. The purpose of this scientific study is to investigate the impact of textile microfibers on human health in the context of biological aspects. To achieve the set scientific goal, the descriptive-analytical method was used - the theoretical aspects of the scientific field under study are examined on the basis of a current literature review. Scientific information is summarized and analyzed using a systematic approach; analytical approach; study of the works of authors in the field; comparative analysis and observation method. After the study, it was found that studies on the content of textile microfibers in seafood predominate. Studies related to the impact of textile microfibers on human health in the context of biological aspects are few in number and do not have the necessary depth.
