Morphobiological and Ecological Characteristics of the Common Perch (Perca fluviatilis L.) in the Sub-Dam Zone of the Krasnodar Reservoir

Abstract
This paper presents the results of a study of common perch (Perca fluviatilis L.) growth in the Pashkovsky floodplains below the dam of the Krasnodar Reservoir in the autumn of 2025. Based on the biological and ecological characteristics of common perch specimens caught with recreational fishing gear, data on the age and sex structure of the population, size and weight characteristics are presented, and the growth rates of the different sexes of the perch are analyzed. It was found that the proportion of females with reproductive products in recreational float fishing catches is 31.0%. The food chains of common perch in the predatory stage of development in the Pashkovsky floodplains are examined. Based on the data obtained, the maximum sizes and weights of common perch of both sexes inhabiting the Pashkovsky floodplains below the dam of the Krasnodar Reservoir are estimated.
