The SOM genetic landscape reflects the dissemination paths of cultivated grapes from near east and the Caucasus towards Western Europe and Iberian Peninsula. Grape utilization maps of the grape show preferential wine making in Western Europe, Iberia and Balkan, table grape usage in West and East Asia and double usage in Maghreb and Iberia.
