To the issue of training and retraining of forestry personnel

The article deals with the issues related to the analysis of human resources potential in forestry. The data on the number of entrants and students studying forestry specialities in vocational and higher education institutions are given. The problems of personnel training at the present stage are revealed. An assessment of the existing system of personnel retraining and support measures for young specialists in forestry is given.
