The effect of microbial protein on the growth and physiological state of sturgeon fish with the complete replacement of fish meal in feed

Abstract
The study investigates the possibility of replacing fish meal with microbial protein in the diet of sturgeon yearlings. The research aims to evaluate the impact of this substitution on fish growth and overall health. The experiment involved two groups of sturgeon yearlings: one fed with traditional feed containing fish meal, and the other receiving feed with microbial protein as a fish meal substitute. The study monitored growth rates, physiological parameters, and biochemical indicators. The research demonstrates several significant results: nutritional value of the diet remains unchanged despite the complete replacement of fish meal with microbial protein. Growth rates of fish increased notably in the experimental group compared to the control group. Physiological parameters showed no critical deviations, indicating the safety of the new feed formula. Biochemical indicators remained within normal limits, confirming the suitability of microbial protein as a fish meal alternative. Trace element content in fish tissues complied with food safety standards.
