Control digital de la disponibilidad hídrica de la viña Digital control of the water availability of the vine
Abstract
The progressive increase in aridity conditions in agriculture are evident and the ability to obtain the maximum information on their evolution has become a fundamental need for the winegrower. It is necessary to control the water reserves in the soil, as support in decision-making in the cultivation of the vine. Results of two works started in 2018 are presented. The Hidrovinya project was carried out in the Penedès area, creating a network of sensors for meteorological and soil moisture control in rainfed vineyards, assessing the vegetative and productive development of plants., to interpret agronomically the data obtained. Regvallcorb, is carried out in the PDO Costers del Segre and is proposed as a digitized support in the irrigation of the vine. A network of meteorological and soil moisture sensors is created in different irrigation strategies. With the data obtained, a newsletter is written, recommending the opportunity and volume of irrigation. The set of data obtained in these projects has allowed to determine relationships between soil moisture and the water potential of the plant as a basis for a gradual digitization of viticulture.
