Coastal Community Sports Awareness

The term coastal community refers to groups of people who live or carry out activities in coastal areas or beaches. The aim of this research is to determine the community’s awareness of exercise in terms of indicators of positive views towards sport, feeling the need to exercise and understanding health conditions. The research sample was the coastal community of Tanjungpinang City, totaling 78 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire regarding exercise awareness with a Likert scale approach. Sample. The results of data analysis on sports awareness in the coastal communities of Tanjungpinang City were 57.25% with fairly good criteria.
