Leukocyte indexes for equine immune status assessment

Leukocyte indexes, as a diagnostic tool, are highly informative, combined with methodological accessibility. This article provides an overview of various leukocyte indexes. Based on the results of a study of the morphological parameters of the blood of horses, twenty-one leukocyte indexes were calculated and reference values were determined.
