This study analyzes research trends on Luwak coffee using bibliometric analysis of 150 articles from 2004 to 2024, sourced from Dimensions metadata. The analysis, conducted with VOSviewer, R Studio, and Excel, reveals a notable surge in publications in 2023. Indonesia leads with 114 publications, followed by Japan with 24 and China with 15, underscoring regional interest in Asia. Italy and Brazil also contribute significantly, reflecting global scientific engagement. The research spans topics such as chemical characteristics, authentication through metabolite analysis, and animal welfare. Insights suggest that future research will focus on sustainable production, ethical treatment of civets, and improved analytical methods for coffee authenticity and quality control.
